Warranty Terms

The homepage references a warranty of up to 10 years. This page is where the actual terms will live once drafted.

Scope

  • Does the warranty cover structural work, waterproofing, electrical, or all of the above?
  • Does coverage differ by service vertical (house construction vs. interior design)?
  • What does "up to" mean in practice — is 10 years the ceiling for one specific scope item, with shorter terms for others?

Exclusions

  • What voids the warranty (unauthorised alterations, third-party work, neglect)?
  • Are consumable/wear items (paint, sealant, fittings) excluded, and if so from what point?
  • Is damage from natural events (flooding, seismic activity beyond design spec) covered or excluded?

Claims process

  • How does a client file a claim, and within what time of noticing an issue?
  • What is the response and resolution SLA?
  • Who bears inspection cost if a claim is found not to be covered?

Transferability

  • Does the warranty transfer if the property is sold within the term?
  • Is there a fee or notification requirement for transfer?
